December '07:
An old anouncement of developing an omni-directional supertweeter is
not really true any more. That project turned into development of big
omni-directive array mid-high driver. Parallel to that one, Pro driver
is on the way. Should be able to deliver "rock concert" SPL with ultra
high resolution. Should work as direct radiator as well as horn loaded.
Both drivers will be very serious pieces, incorporating yet unseen
solutions in true ribbon design, making them statement of RAAL's
capabilities.
November '07:
We got two more distributors and then some. After an amazing audio
experience at RMAF in their room and meeting kindred spirit of Mr.
Haruhiko Teramoto, it was natural consequence that Feastrex will
represent RAAL in Japan. Furthermore, RAAL will represent Feastrex for
many countries in Eastern Europe. Stay tuned for more news about those
true gems of audio.
We are happy to announce that our distributor in Australia is Stones
Sound Studio, owned by Mr. Russel Storey.
October '07:
RAAL warmly welcomes newly appointed distributors. Old clients and
renowned experts in the industry, Finaudio S.n.c. is taking care of
distribution in Italy. In Poland Mr. Witold Albecki's market leader
company Akkus and in The Netherlands, De Audiofabriek.

September '07.
I am honored to be invited to The
Burning Amp Festival in San Francisco, 21st October '07. as a Guest
Speaker/Presenter along with Nelson Pass, Jack Hidley, Jan Didden and
Stuart Yaniger.
Instead of showing and explaining diagrams, charts and bunch of boring
data, I will do the assembly of 70-10D ribbon in front of the audience,
explaining parts, approach, pro's and con's for the solutions, letting
the audience pass around the parts before the assembly. The freshly made
transducer will be played until destruction and then repaired.
Also, in October, I will visit RMAF in Denver. Some appointments have

August '07
Finished development of Amorphous C-cores application in our ribbons. Some
years ago, we were the first to introduce large gap approach in bulding
ribbon transformers and now we are the first to use AMCC's in ribbons
for absolutely uncompressed high power transient transfer and, at the
same time, even further improving already the best low-level performance
in the world today, by decreasing the width of hysteresis compared to HF
ferrite cores. For direct coupled tube SE-ribbon, we succesfuly
developed 175:1 ratio, -3dB at 120kHz Amorpous C-core transformers that
can carry DC idle current of SET. Impedance conversion is about 30000:1,
bringing the 0.1 Ohm ribbon up to 3kOhm, good for plate loading of most
triodes in HF. AMCC's are available as an option to both OEM and DIY.

RAAL welcomes a new employee, a great person and incredibly skilled
fabricator, Mladen Stavric from Zajecar. It's four of us now.
February '07.
Two worlds brought together. HE horn system and HE true ribbon. Successful
system integration of custom ordered, most efficient true ribbon in the
world with 109 dB/1W, in customer's Horn System. Named "Water Drop"
,this tweeter and it's derivatives, will be available by order only,

January '07.
Deflector pads for model 70-10
has been developed. From now on, model 70-10 will be model 70-10D,
offering vertical dispersion angle of 50 degrees vertical @ 20k,
directly challenging even small dome tweeters in that regard and vastly
superior to any other ribbon on the market, making it the best small
ribbon in the world. Pads fit to already sold 70-10 models and will be
shipped free of charge to all 70-10 owners.
New form of Deflector Pads for
140-15D has been developed, for better vertical dispersion. Will be
shipped free of charge to all 140-15D owners.
Soldering posts in form of copper rivets instead gold plated brass
binding posts in all products.
"Wrinkle black" texture powder coating as default front plate color in
all products. Naked brushed stainless steel, "Brushed chrome" finish, is
still available with extra charge.
Portugese Cork "face plate-cabinet baffle" gaskets in all products.
Unsurpassed long term elastic properties compared to any synthetic
foam-rubber product.

Starting development of custom super-efficient true-ribbon supertweeter
for private customer. The derivative of it, should be released as a
production super-efficient tweeter in early 2007.
Development of omnidirectional ring true-ribbon supertweeter, to be
released early 2007.
Start of cooperation with HPV Technologies (www.getmad.com),
on development of high eficiency ribbon arc segments for line arrays.
Sep '06.
Release of new, OEM only, 70-20XR
mid-high ribbon speaker, after 3 months of development and 6 months of
testing and tweaking period.
